Unemployment is reported as a rolling 4 week number. ADP does not add unemployment figures to their numbers. They take the total that fall off of ADP payrolls and compare it to those added to get the 113,000.
In the last 4 weeks, a totally different reporting entity declared that 400,000 some odd Americans filed for unemployment.
To get the net, you need to compare these two. But this isn’t really the number either because ADP isn’t the total hired or fired while the unemployment number is.
