Susan, there when are taxes due 2012 many, many expenses to operating a rental. Lately, paying for the taxes is becoming more of a problem than paying for upkeep. This is a renter’s market. It is getting very hard to even break even since many cities have figured out ways to keep taxes high despite declining property values and landlords are getting squeezed.
You do not pay taxes unless you write a check to the Government. Stop with the pats on the back. Taxes come out of my investment and out of my profit. It is not yours and I pay the taxes out of what I have earned, not you.
